You are kindly invited to submit abstracts on all traditional medicine, herbal remedy, and dietary therapy papers and related fields for presentation at the International Conference of Traditional and Complementary Medicine on Health, 2013 (ICTCMH 2013). All submissions, oral presentation or poster presentation, must comply with the following guidelines.


Guidelines for Abstract Submission
  1. Abstract must be written in ENGLISH (including the title, authors’ names, affiliations, abstract text) with single space and saved the text as a single .doc or .docx file (not .pdf).
  2. Abstract must be submitted via the conference website.
  3. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. This number also includes any footnotes at the bottom of the abstract.
  4. Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentations. Authors may indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation, but the final decision will be made by the Academic Committee.
  5. A notification will be e-mailed to the corresponding author only.

Oral Presentation Guidelines
  1. Speakers are requested to provide their presentation on CD/R, CD/RW, or USB sticks 30 minutes before their lecture will be given.
  2. Please be sure to use anti-virus software to scan the USB sticks and backup files.
  3. The symposium‘s PCs and laptops are equipped with Windows XP and PowerPoint Version 2003. The presentation file should be saved as .ppt or .pptx.
  4. On the day of presentation, the supporting devices (laptop, laser pointer etc.) will be set up at the conference room.
  5. The time for each speaker will be 15 minutes includes Q&A.


Poster Presentation Guidelines
  1. Poster will be displayed at the second floor lobby of National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, present time would be May 24, 2013 16:00 – 17:00 and May 26, 2013 16:00 – 17:00.
  2. Poster content should be intelligible in itself, even in the absence of the authors and without a study of the abstract. The poster language is English.
  3. It is required for all poster presenter to register to the conference, without registration, your paper will not be published in the conference proceedings.
  4. A display board of 96 cm in width x 175 cm in height will be available. The poster should be legible from a distance of 1 m. Elements should be mounted on lightweight art-board that can be easily fastened with pins, tacks or tape.

  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Affiliation
  • Introduction – background information, purpose of study
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion and conclusion – an interpretation of the results and their significance
