If you are a foreign visitor, you have to (1) fly to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport first, (2) then transferring to Taipei Main Station by Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR), (3) transferring to Beitou by MRT, (4) finally, walking to NRICM (10 min) from Shihpai station/MRT or take the shuttle bus nearby provided by NYMU.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Taoyuan International Airport to Beitou. It costs about NTD 1,500.

There are shuttle bus transportation between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and THSR.
- Taking MRT from Taipei Main Station to Beitou

NRICM is close to the Shihpai station on the red line (Danshui Line) of Municipal Rapid Transit (MRT). NRICM is within a 10-minute walking distance to the Shipai station (MRT). Alternatively, there are many bus lines, which stop at either the Shipai or National Yang-Ming University (NYMU) stops, which are within a 5-minute walking distance to NRICM. Therefore, it is easy to get access to the NRICM from different parts of Taipei city.
- Transportation from Shipai station/MRT to NYMU/NRICM campus
- NYMU Shuttle Bus stop (*, located at the opposite street corner of the Shipai station, in front of an Eyeglasses Store). It takes every 5-10 minutes per shuttle bus in rush hour (from7:10-8:15, 9:30-10:00 and 17:00-18:00), and every 15 minutes per shuttle bus in normal hour. The closest stop to the venue of NRICM is the main entrance of NYMU.
